Our country often sets the trends of fashion and public standards accepted world wide. In the military specific forms of conduct which do not present the highest form of tradition, honor and presentation to the American public and nations abroad are punishable by the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Provided service contracts establish that conduct in written form and recruiters should have in advance explained these items.
Don't ask, don't tell is to me a clear violation of military code of conduct and in fact interpreted as a breech of contract. Our service personel can be literally be punished such events as excessive sunburn while off duty. These events which cast any form of misrepresentation light or bad conduct in foreign duty areas are highly political.
Despite the grievance against even one our own allies for contributing to misconduct, some foreign duty station have laws that include punishment by death for certain offenses. When service personnel are arrested for any supposed violation of foreign law, they may also be arrested and tried in tribunals for similar charges upon return to active duty commands within the region.
Those contracts are not to be taken lightly, it is a legally binding agreement between you and the presiding service agency and give them the right if needed conduct trials for grieves breeches of conduct. Always keep that in mind......
As for pregnancy being and equal? No, by the definitions of the U.C.M.J. it is not even a close representation for comparative. Have a good day......
